So i called the police for the first time ever today.....
on my way home a man in a wheelchair was in the middle of the roundabout, so i pulled over, got out, and went to help him at least to the footpath, but he was saying he needed me to push him to the shops (at least an hours walk from where we were) i said i couldnt do that and that he shouldnt be on the road, he was EXTREMELY hostile and wouldnt let me help, so i figured there wasnt anything else i could do but to go home ( 2 streets away) and call the police to go help him....
I feel bad, like should i have done something else, i didn't want to drive him because he was mentally disabled also and i coudnt lift him into my car. And what if hed grabbed the wheel or something?
There was a teenage guy, who walked past and came to help, but when he saw the man was saying no and yelling at me he backed off, i mouthed to him "help" and he stayed just in case. The man wheeled to the middle of the round about and i drove home and called the local police, I hope the man didn't get hit by a car, but what else could i have done really.
that wasn't fun.
